Windsor High School teachers are dedicated to teaching
tolerance. We work everyday to deconstruct ignorance through exposure to
various perspectives, attitudes, and philosophies.By selecting curriculum
that enhances and expands the students’ understanding of society, we
deconstruct stereotypes and promote understanding. We teach them to embrace, appreciate, and learn from each
other. We teach them to stand up
for each other and be aware of discriminatory attitudes. We challenge their perceptions of the
world by giving them the tools to develop informed opinions. We teach them to not judge people based
on religious affiliation, race, gender, or sexual identity. We are dedicated to education. We teach students that they should be
proud of who they are and where they come from.We teach them to view the world with an open-mind.We teach kindness.Through our efforts, we aim to make
Windsor High School a safe place for all students and send them out into the
world with a more comprehensive understanding of humanity. As public educators, this is our
job.
